An EB-5 Visa investment needs to total $1,000,000 directly into any business located anywhere in the U.S. and demonstrate that at least 10 full-time jobs have been, or will be created as a direct result of your investment.

You may also invest $500,000 directly into any business located in a high-unemployment or rural area (called a Targeted Employment Area, or TEA) and demonstrate that at least 10 full-time jobs have been, or will be created as a direct result of your investment. Puerto Rico has many candidates for TEA investments Additionally, you can also invest $500,000 indirectly into a project managed and operated by a Regional Center located in a TEA, and rely on the Regional Center to demonstrate how your money will be used to create at least 10 full time jobs through indirect and/or induced means. Your money is pooled with other investors in a fund, and the fund is used to loan money to the project/developer to complete the project.
