Visiting the sales office for New York’s newest modernist architectural landmark located 100 East 53rd Street was an enlightening experience for how the luxury condo offerings continue to impress. 100 East 53rd Street is being built by Foster + Partners, who also build the UN Plaza and the iconic Hearst Building, is a 64 story tower set back from a 9 story podium. Public amenities on the ground and second floors will include world-class restaurant with a private dining room accessible to residents. There are two building components possessing identifiably different residence tower homes and loft apartments that are generously proportioned and seamlessly integrated with infrastructure for modern cosmopolitan living. Each lofty apartment’s 11 foot ceiling and over-sized wide-plank white oak flooring draw attention to views and light. This luxury condo is not simply a jewel of contemporary architecture, but also a big ratchet up for comfort and elegance from other luxury offerings.
